About Alexandra
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University (2016) and a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Gender Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2011). I have over 8 years of counseling/therapy experience providing therapy support to both adolescents and adults. Together, we work to resolve identified issues and or reduce the symptoms related to problem areas such as relationship anxieties, work/school stress, familial conflicts, chronic health problems, and self esteem problems.
I provide ongoing education about the significance of goal setting and the completion of therapy homework to help improve problem solving abilities while also accessing healthy resources. My treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices.
Let’s work together to overcome obstacles and build a more fulfilling, balanced life. Reach out today, and take the first step toward healing and growth.

"I take pride in figuring out life's challenges independently but sometimes this process can feel isolating while navigating them alone. I understand the need to seek clarity and outside perspectives from supportive, and non-judgmental person(s) so let's work together to help you build or refine problem solving tools that empower you to resolve issues, and or reshape your views of problems that you believe are outside of your control."
