About Patricia
A trusting working relationship between counselor and client is important and I am committed to achieve that healthy collaboration. I believe that as people become more aware of their thoughts, actions, emotions, and beliefs that they have increased ability to face challenges and overcome difficult situations more successfully.
I have over 6 years of counseling experience where I have worked as a therapist and clinical supervisor with individuals, adolescents, and veterans. My theoretical orientation is eclectic, meaning I draw on multiple theoretical orientations during my counseling sessions. My client would come with their concerns and an open mind, would be ready to engage in an honest conversation and be ready to do any work that is needed.
I provide unconditional positive regard and empathy to each client. I like to help my client first by listening to their concerns, help them understand the underlying issue, then providing effective interventions to cultivate positive change. I help clients draw on their inner strengths that will become more prominent than any agitator…You had it in you all along!
Experiencing bouts of unhappiness, anxiety, stagnation or just want a new prospective for the next stage in life? Then you are at the right place. I have success with clients in therapy sessions in various areas including increasing self-awareness and coping skills. Clients share that I have influenced positive impact on behavioral changes, communication, creating positive routines and learning healthy boundaries.

"As an overcomer of life's peaks and valleys, I am here to assist you through the rough patches. "
