Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I've always been passionate about helping others navigate life's challenges and find their inner strength. Seeing the transformative power of therapy firsthand, I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to supporting others on their journey towards healing and personal growth.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients who are motivated and open to self-exploration and growth. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, my approach is tailored to meet you where you are and empower you to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm most excited to work with clients who are ready to take an active role in their healing journey. Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I'm eager to collaborate with you, explore your strengths, and help you navigate toward a more fulfilling and empowered life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
One thing I wish clients knew is that it's okay to ask for help and to prioritize their mental health. Seeking support is a courageous step towards healing and personal growth, and there is strength in vulnerability.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I choose to practice at Thriveworks because of their commitment to excellence in client care and their supportive, collaborative approach to therapy. Thriveworks provides a professional and empowering environment that allows me to focus on what I do best: helping clients thrive and reach their full potential.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where we'll focus on building rapport and understanding your unique needs and goals. We'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, explore any concerns you may have, and begin to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and strengths. It's an opportunity for us to establish a trusting relationship and collaborate on a path towards healing and growth.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Before scheduling a first session, clients should know that I am dedicated to providing them with compassionate, personalized care tailored to their unique needs and goals. Additionally, I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that I am utilizing the most effective and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support my clients. What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my free time, I love exploring new places, whether it's traveling to far-off destinations or discovering hidden gems in my own city. I also enjoy staying active through workouts and running, finding joy and rejuvenation in movement. Spending quality time with friends is important to me, whether it's trying out new restaurants, going on outdoor adventures, or simply enjoying each other's company.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me outside of my professional life is my adventurous spirit. Whether it's traveling to new destinations, exploring the outdoors, or trying out new experiences, I thrive on the excitement of discovery and the opportunity to expand my horizons.
Can you tell us about a success you had with a client?
Absolutely! One of my most rewarding successes involved a client who was struggling to cope with narcissistic abuse. Through our therapeutic work together, we focused on validating their experiences, rebuilding their self-esteem, and establishing healthy boundaries. Over time, the client gained clarity and confidence in recognizing manipulation tactics, asserting their needs, and prioritizing their own well-being. Witnessing their resilience and empowerment as they navigated through such a challenging situation was truly inspiring and reaffirmed the transformative power of therapy.
