Mary Tagle is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 9 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and older adults address their unique challenges and live more fulfilled lives. Mary specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma in children, and major life transitions and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the American School of Professional Psychology.


Mary utilizes multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and child trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).


Mary focuses on helping patients proactively heal from their mental health challenges by assigning therapeutic exercises between sessions. Why did you decide to become a counselor?

It has always been my passion to help others by really listening and empathizing with their struggles in their lives.

I work best with patients who are motivated for change and developing skills to increase their resilience in their life's journey.

One thing I wish my clients knew is how much I value being positive in life and seeing life as as an adventure.

What inspires you?

Resilience, self compassion and self acceptance, and perseverance.


What can clients expect in their first session with you?

Clients can expect to feel really listened to and heard. Everyone's struggles are real, no matter how large or small the struggles are.


What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

In the first session, I hope to really get to know the client and ask questions on what their goals in treatment are.

I really value compassion, empathy, and setting goals with my clients to offer a sense of hope.


What do you do for fun/on your time off?

I enjoy spending time with my family, self care (i.e. self care and meditation) and being in nature.
