Seems to be less about this (vs euphoria etc). Spouse’s prelim diagnosis is bipolar 2 and currently ‘manic’ state. Very, very angry but largely at one group of people – unreasonably targeting them as the root of all issues/concerns and to blame for current illness. Is this common/seen elsewhere? Or this is symptom of another condition? Thanks
It is difficult to determine the specific disorder that these symptoms may reflect without a personal interview and more detailed examinations of the person’s history. However, a person with bipolar disorder may manifest anger overtly in ways that may also reflect that specific person’s personality and past history. For instance, if the person in question had a negative history with a person from a certain group, he may develop prejudicial feelings toward that group. These feelings may be amplified by the bipolar disorder.
