I don’t know if I’m stressed. How do you really know? It seems like the expression “I’m so stressed out” is used a lot, but when do I need to actually do something about my stress?
Stress is the emotional and mental strain experienced during demanding periods. There is good stress (such as the stress of planning a wedding) and bad stress (such as juggling life’s multiple demands all at once). Both can take a toll on your ability to balance life effectively. What is going on in your life? Do you feel that you have the ability to implement self-care (exercise, healthy meal choices, meditation, or other things that you may do to take care of yourself)? If not, perhaps you could use some professional support to identify tools and resources to help you better manage priorities and the related stressors. For more information on stress visit
