Meet your moderators

Anthony Centore, Ph.D.

The Founder of Thriveworks, Private Practice Consultant for the American Counseling Association, Columnist for Counseling Today magazine, and a Professional Counselor licensed in CO, GA, MA, NC, and VA.

Melissa McGinness, LPC

A licensed professional counselor. She works with adult individuals, couples and families and has more than 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Her experience includes private practice, residential group work, professional therapeutic interventions to students in the public school setting, outpatient counseling, in-home therapeutic interventions to families, and crisis intervention.

Greg Handel, Ph.D.

Has more than 35 years of experience providing positive life supports for individuals, couples and families. He has worked in several different environments including inpatient and outpatient mental health centers, rehabilitation facilities, congregate residential settings and in private practice.

Stacy Franklin, LPC

She is a licensed clinical mental health therapist and registered neutral for the state of Georgia, helping you to reach your personal and career goals, while maximizing your full potential is Stacy Franklin’s primary concern. Stacy is known for her open, direct and empathetic approach to counseling. She uses an integrated approach to counseling, which means she utilizes a variety of orientations and therapies, which are based on the client's individual needs.

Jessica Pena-Cabana, PhD, MEd, CSC, LPC, CFC

She has over 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, couples, families, and adults with special needs and emotional issues. Dr. Pena-Cabana is trained as a National Certified Forensic Counselor (NAFC) and also in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution focused, Play therapy, Grief and Loss, PTSD, and trauma. She is a member of AASECT/ Sex Therapist. She has work as a Clinical Director, Therapist, and Professor in NYC, Texas, and South Carolina. Dr. Pena-Cabana has the experience and ability to work with children with Autism, ADD/ADHD, oppositional behaviors, Anger Management, and trauma. Additionally, she provides therapy and supervision for Parenting, Grief and Loss, and Behavioral Problems and Families suffering from PTSD.
