QUESTION: Hello, just reading Newsletter and find that I do have further questions.  No pressure to you, as they must be answered before Jan 1st. (smile)  My questions are:

  1. Are there new CPT codes
  2. and

  3. are the descriptions different, and if so, how, for the following codes:
  4. 90885

Thank you immensely!  I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Greetings ,
    I hope you are well!

The CPT revisions have thrown a lot of us for a loop. It’s good to be cautious! It would be nice to have an “official” list of codes that won’t be changing, to accompany the list of codes that will change! 🙂

An overview of the 2013 changes can be found by following this link below; there is an article and a video.

I think, if your specific CPT codes are not presented in this overview, then they will not be part of the major 2013 overhaul.

However, every year codes do change a little, and descriptions can change slightly. So there may be some changes, but if they’re not listed in any of this information, I think any potential changes will be only slight.

    I hope this helps!!
