Therapy in Austin – Anxiety, Life Coaching, Relationship Counseling
Marriage counseling. Depression therapy. Anxiety therapy. Life coaching. These terms alone are enough to give you unease. The reason being: Setting up your first session can be a frustrating experience. While it’s true that many already successful people seek counseling or coaching for continued personal and professional growth, others begin their search during trying times. Perhaps you’re going through a scenario similar to one of these:
- A close loved one has passed away and the grief has made it difficult to get through the day
- Once happily married, you and your spouse can’t seem to have a conversation without at least a few snide remarks and a slammed door or two
- Your child is having difficulty making friends at school
- You used to play poker with friends for fun, but the “game” is becoming a serious addiction
- Activities that used to bring you a lot of enjoyment no longer seem interesting and you spend most of your days feeling exhausted and bored
For those experiencing a difficult life situation, you want relief to come soon, not after weeks of leaving voicemails and hoping that one of the long list of clinicians you’ve called has available appointments and can accept your insurance provider. Thriveworks was founded to bring concierge-level care to your counseling experience. We want to make sure that you experience the transformative benefits of therapy as soon as possible. When you call us to schedule your first coaching or therapy session, you’ll speak with an actual person who will find you an appointment for the same week of your call, if not within 24 hours.
Thriveworks helped me realize that I do believe people can change. I’m not the person I was three months ago, broken and fearful. I’m healthy and happy and for the first time being kind to myself. Thank you for giving me my life back.”
Austin is a fast growing, fast-paced place to live. One could even say that the city, and the people residing in and around Austin, Texas, are flourishing. Still, even during the best of times one can still struggle. And, to be completely honest, while some people are doing extremely well, plenty of good people are going through difficult, dark times (this could include anything from depression, to anxiety, to grief, to an addiction, to a divorce or breakup. The list goes on). Thriveworks Counseling has build a reputation around the United States as a counseling and life coaching practice that provides high quality, sensitive, care to clients. The facts are indisputable: In order to live a happy, meaningful and fulfilling life, you need to have balance. By balance, we mean that being physically healthy alone isn’t enough. Just like it’s important to exercise, sleep well and eat nutritious foods to maintain your physical health, your emotional wellbeing can benefit from practicing communication skills, mindfulness and other activities that your counselor or coach will teach you about. Without balance, life can become unnecessarily difficult. Making simple decisions can seem impossible, and once easy-to-complete tasks can go undone for days, weeks and months. If you feel like all is not well, then do yourself a favor by addressing those concerns. Not tomorrow, not in a few weeks, but today.
Thriveworks Austin Counseling accepts nearly all major insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, and many others. If you have an insurance company that isn’t on this list, still call us–we may still be able to help you (and if we can’t we’ll certainly try to provide you a referral to someone who can).
Call us Anytime 24/7/365
In addition, our full-licensed Austin-based counselors offer extended service hours including mornings, evenings, and even weekends. Also, we do something no one else in the field does: new clients are offered an appointment time within 24 hours of their call to us. Third, you can call our offices anytime, and there will be a live person to answer your call.
